TOOL Live in the Sand will provide free shuttle service to and from the Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ)! Shuttles will run periodically Tuesday, March 4th – Friday March 7th, and continuing Monday March 10th to Thursday, March 13th.

If you have not purchased your extended nights directly through the festival, we cannot guarantee that a shuttle will be available for you.

Once you arrive at Punta Cana International Airport you will disembark the plane and be directed to terminal building A or B depending on the airline arriving.

Procedures on both terminals: You will need to hand over your passports to the immigration officials and your passport will be checked and stamped. At this point, fingerprints may also be taken by a biometric device. This is for security reasons to monitor arrivals and departures. After passport control, you will be directed to the baggage claim area. The belt numbers where your luggage will appear are displayed on screens inside the baggage claim area. Trolleys are available at this point. Once you have collected your luggage, you can proceed to the customs area. After clearing customs, you will find porters to assist you with your luggage. Exiting the terminal building, you will see uniformed AMSTAR DMC staff ready to welcome you. They will have blue shirts with the AMSTAR DMC logo and Festication signage. They will direct you to your shuttle.

IMPORTANT: Please be aware that you may encounter street vendors at the PUJ terminal who may attempt to sell beers, sodas, or water. We kindly request that you disregard these vendors. Regrettably, Amstar DMC is unable to intervene as the terminal is considered a public space. Only accept services from staff identified by the Amstar logo.

All Tool Live in the Sand attendees will be provided free shuttle service to and from the airport on arrival and departure dates booked directly through the festival. Please note that we do not provide shuttle transportation to or from the airport on Saturday or Sunday.

Amstar Shuttles will depart from all resorts on the hour. When you are exiting the Punta Cana Airport, look for AMSTAR employees holding Tool Live in the Sand signs. They will direct you to the shuttle and confirm you have a reservation with us. Amstar will have a desk at the Hard Rock in the Groups Lobby by festival Check-in to answer any and all transportation and departure questions on Friday. Additionally, on Sunday Amstar will be located at the Hard Rock in the Groups Lobby to assist with questions for departure.

Both the Hard Rock and Royalton Resorts have a large offering of all-inclusive restaurants where attendees can eat. Guests are recommended to make reservations when they check in to ensure availability.

Resorts are all inclusive. You eat & drink at your purchased resort.

Additionally, Royalton guests will have access to the all inclusive beach bars located on the Hard Rock beach during the show.
